I thought the article gave the casinos' "average" hold. That would take into account ALL of their slots. If you are really after postivite expected value slots you need to know about a casino's "best" slots.
For example, if the Fiesta had a 3% hold average it could mean every single one of their slots keeps 3%. Casino X may have garnered a 4% average hold but that could mean they have a some full pay deuces (or other positive EV) machines and a lot of crappy 10% holding machines...possibly averaging to a bigger (worse) hold than the Fiesta did.
Not to nit pick but if someone is really after the best slots, a casino's average is not what they should look for.
