Somewhere in early 1970's, the police raided a poker game, I was playing in, in Cincinnati.
They hauled us all in.
I was put in a cell with a gentleman that said he was a naval officer that was on the Puelbo, when siezed. I believed him. He had a file about 6 inches thick concerning his case. Navy documents and pictures of the siezeure of the Puelbo, I do not remember what he was charged with. He was being held by the Feds.
The wife posted my measly bail and I was out in a few hours.
Charges on the poker game was dropped about 30 days later and our confiscated $ was returned.
All big fun back in those days.
