Yes, I hope, very much, that Obama succeeds. I'd love it if he surpassed all these unrealistic expectations, but I am betting the "under" on that one.

That being said, the media would have been ALL OVER Bush if he made that mistake, and flubbed the oath to boot. If you think they wouldn't, you are not being honest with yourself or you are not paying attention.

It is not nit-picking, just pointing out the inherent unfairness Bush was treated with. Thankfully, the man had the grace and decency to treat Obama with a lot more respect and decency than he was treated, by both the press AND Clinton.

I like Obama, a lot. Seems like a good guy. I will definitely give him my support. I have no faith in anything I hear from the mainstream media though. They are nothing but cheerleaders for Obama, they have been all thru the primaries, and it looks like they will be that way for some time to come........and I believe that is dangerous.
