Re: with all the serious problems facing us ...
Just were was it said "ANYWHERE" in this thread anything about it being unpatriotic to, as you put it, "attack Obama"?
Attack him all you want!
It's your right to do so, if that is how you want to contribute to this discussion.
Tear down our new President in every way possible, if that's what floats your boat!
Continue to keep us divided as a people, plant seeds of doubt regarding our new President, even root for his presidency to fail, if that brings a smile to your face!
All I'm saying is, for me, I want him to succeed, for the sake of our Great Nation.
And I believe that it is in the best interests of our Country if he does!
And for that to happen, it is in EVERY American's best interest to try and put their partisan bickering aside for the good of our Nation, get behind our new leader, support him, make an effort to bring our nation together, under one purpose, to tackle the problems facing us now.
The election is over.
We have a new President, whether or not you voted for him.
He is YOUR President now, too!
Unlike Mr. Bush, Obama won with a large majority.
And unlike Mr. Bush, he is coming into office with much more serious problems confronting him and our Nation.
Is this really the time to be continuing this partisan bickering?
What is to gain from it?
If ever there was a time to be united as a people, it is now!
That's all I'm trying to say!
