It was stunning to watch the inauguration. Millions on hand to witness the change of leadership peacefully. That alone distinguishes the United States from most other nations in the world. That our new leader is the first non-Caucasian President of the United States is a reflection of the advancement of our culture. Thankfully. those who oppose non-Caucasians did not protest today. May their voices forever remain silent. I am hopeful that today we have a rekindling of the American spirit to guide us through these troubling times.
