Notice that in this card, the bar is Talk of the Town (or Talk O' the Town), haven't seen that on too many of 'em. The stitching on the right edge is attaching a bag of gen-U-ine "SILVER ORE from Silver State Nevada" to the card
Yep...looks lit up to me...
The interesting thing about this card is the building that housed the Northern Club, Turf Club, Club 15, Monte Carlo Club, Coin Castle, and is now La Bayou...Look just past the Golden Gate, where it says .79. There was a period from the mid 1950's until 1970 when non-gaming businesses were there, including Denny's Restaurant and Sam's Roast Beef. On the postcard you can read ads for roast beef and ham sandwiches (well, in person with a magnifying glass you can read it...not so much on the scan), so I suspect it was Sam's Roast Beef. I don't remember seeing that on any other cards (then again, I have a lousy memory )
