Harrah's/Caesars whatever you want to call the company.....but the name of the company is a side issue.
Awhile back they bought up the parcels of land behind the Barbary/Bill's, Flamingo, IP and Harrah's. You may have noticed the little bar behind Bill's advertising on their marquee that they have 25/24/23 whatever years left on their lease. In any case that's in the same strip mall complex as Batista's.
Point of the ramblings....
Today I received a mailer from Harrah's/Caesars with free food offers and other coupons for all of their LV properties. I was surprised and amused to find enclosed a Buy-one-get-one entree coupon for Batista's.
For those of you who haven't been to Batista's it is a campy Italian restaurant, complete with bunches of plastic grapes hanging everywhere and, IMO, so-so food. In any case it's sort of a Las Vegas institution.
It's now under the giant umbrella of Harrah's/Caesars.
I wonder how long it will take for them to screw it up or tear it down....and I wonder if you can use your comp points there.
