First of all, If I don't want someone to read something I don't send to anyone unless they have agreed to keep it private,
Second, I haven't criticized Chuck for his response to Rene's posting the email, yet. I'm still stating that Chuck's threat to Rene to manipulate prices is unethical. Even if you don't want to call the email a threat, an attempt to manipulate prices is unethical.
Chuck is trying to deflect attention from this by using the "I'm offended that my private email has been published"
So far the only response defending Chuck's attempt to fix prices has been "worse things happen everyday." This isn't acceptable. While I can let the subject die, I will not if Chuck continues to post on the subject without admiting that he was out of line.
I recognize that I am the newcomer here, and Chuck is well liked. But neither one of those things are relevant here.
So I ask each and every one of you to answer one question without regard to the personalities involved:
1) Is attempting to manipulate the free market by threat, or otherwise,in order to maintain a certain price level consistent with a club members obligation "To base all of my dealings on the highest plane of justice, fairness and morality."
And that's all I have to say about that.
