At a recent check-up the Dr. found a circulation problem in Ann's neck. He ordered an Ultra Sound of the veins in her neck. Results showed a blockage of 90% in one of the arteries. We just came back from a visit with a Vascular Surgeon. He ordered these tests. On Monday she gets an Arterial Doppler of the legs( both lower extemities) & an Arterial Duplex of both lower extremities. On Wednesday she gets a MRI of the brain, a MRA of the Extracranial circulation including the Aortic Arch, & a MRA of the Intracranial circulation. The following Tuesday she gets a Persantine Thallium Cardiac Stress Test. These tests will be done to determine if there are any other blockages. We then go to the surgeon for the results & procedures to be done. All of the posibilities were explained & surgery is most probable. I will keep you posted. Thanks, Al
