I do know that French casino historians had no info on the series being from CEP Vichy, but do have info as to when the type of filigreed overlay was first used by BG; while all known series from the casino are recorded during that period.

Perhaps there is updated info unknown to me, but reexamining Reyncken's records of shares and jetons/plaques from Vichy, I see no notation on these being used there.
