There are many rumors about these jetons. They are from France. That is for sure.
Some collectors think that these jetons were used in the casino Monte Carlo, Monaco. I do not belief that.
I never found any information that these jetons were on the tables in Monaco.

I think that the jetons were used in "Casino Elysee Palace" in Vichy, France. The letters CEP could stand
for Casino Elysee Palace.
The casino on Monte Carlo used the letter SBM (Société des Bains de Mer) since 1920 (and maybe even longer).
I don't believe that they would write CEP on the jetons.
