(I hear where you and Belinda are coming from, Wayne)...."To Grade or Not to Grade," but I've always said that the chip collector (especially the newer chip collectors) should know that a chip offered by a dealer at a lesser state of preservation should not sell at the same level as a chip which may be closer to its original state of preservation when the choice is available. As far as any "formal or 'official' grading system" is concerned regarding the club accepting such...I'm dead against it. Education concerning grading and what to be aware of...yes. Official Grading....no. Though I will not make any suggestions as to who would qualify for such instructions, it is quite obvious who should present their published methods for educational purposes.

Thank you, Wayne and Belinda for posing this question. I hope you have some positive feedback that WILL help those who wish to learn.
