I was given information from a niece of the O'Klocks that the chips were most likely ordered for a cafe/club called "Dan O'Klock's, Jr. Place". She didn't actually know if there was gambling there, but didn't know of any other family business with Max and Dan. I should be clear, she didn't know Max and Dan were in business together at Dan's Place, only that she didn't know of any other businesses in the area. I would suspect Max had a game going there while Dan owned it. Just a guess as this woman was young then and didn't know about family business.

I have a matchbook from Dan's place and thought I had access to it here at the office but don't. I'll post if later. The book gives an address of "Carbon Cliff, IL" which is a couple miles east of Moline, so the location checks out.

Unless by coincidence they named their club "Moline After Dark", I think it is the initials of the owners. My guess is that the club name was either made up to sell chips or was just bad info.
