... and send it to someone else, it is no longer private. That includes email.
In my opinion, unless the recipient agrees IN ADVANCE not to make the contents of any communication public, the sender has no basis upon which to believe those contents will be kept confidential.
I know others disagree with this opinion, but GUARANTEE that my view is the safer one from the sender's point of view. In short, if you don't want your opinions made public, don't express them in writing (particularly to someone with whom you have an ongoing feud and to whom you are saying particularly unpleasant things). ----- jim o\-S
