Doug I feel your pain in Co. I had the best
mailman, and the gals in the Monument post office were the greatest. They all became good friends, always happy and friendly, and most important very effiecent. Now I come back to hotel Ca. and the nastest, rudest, always puting mail in the wrong box, and in the office no, no no.= is pat answer. At tax time wanted 1.10 to hand stamp my envelope. Always been free. When postage went up 3 cents asked to buy one stamped envelope, said they don't have, went to another teller and got the old stamped envelope plus a 3 cent stamp. They could careless, if mail is delivered to the correct address, The post master won't talk to any customer. A neighbor had to go to postmaster general to get a basic problem solved. So it depends on the management of each post office and training. Some cities are great, and some just make a person so mad you want to Ki**. They have a government job for like auto. raises, no performance standards, or merit system. We are helpless to correct any problems.What, happen when we get 3 million new government jobs to rebuild the USA? God help us.
