I was anxiously awaiting a package that was to be delivered today and actually took the day off from work so I wouldnt miss it.
After waiting most of the day, I saw the postman on the next block and started to walk out to the mailbox. I was half way there when I noticed that my flag was still up along with several others on my block.
With that being the case, I naturally assumed that he had not been there yet.
30 minutes later I found out that was not the case as not only were they too lazy to put the flags down, there was a slip in my mailbox. This is the 5th or 6th time in th past few years that the postman has done this to me.
Last time I actually chased down the truck barefooted and when I angrily questioned the driver she gave me a lame story that there were no cars in the driveway so she thought no one was home.
When I explained about the new invention called the garage she switched her story to the fact that she saw no lights on.
Imagine that, 4:00 in the afternoon with full daylight and my porch light was not on.......
I heard our new President giving a speach yesterday saying that American workers are the most motivated and productive workers in the world. Aparently he has never been to the post office.
Just another example of our Government at work.
My postman has just one job..... to deliver the mail. I guess he cant even get that right !!!!!!!!
