When I first got these chips - I thought ah this is easy, A LA SANTE(Casino) Table B Roulette chips - of course I think everything is a Roulette chip.

But when I turned them over things changed. The back of the chips are marked as follows:
White = 5c
Green = 25c
Navy = $1.00 with .oo underlined
Mustard = $5.00 with .oo underlined
Red = $20.00 with.oo underlined
Purple = $50.00 with .00 underlined

These are zig-zag Mold chips and they use the US currency denominations ie. $20 and $50 that were used in a lot of old illegal Casinos.

I googled them under ala sante and also "Bala Sante" thinking the "B" might be the first letter in the name but didn't see much except some refeernce in French to Sante Claus.

Anyone have an idea where these chips are from ???
