There was one time not too long ago that I called my brokerage firm and asked to have the certificates sent to me on one particular stock. They did not make any charge for it.
On the other hand, I have to totally agree that it is no longer the norm hardly done etc.

I think however with Trump stock, I might very well ask to have the certificates sent also...in one share incriments I think my bathroom could use new wallpaper and considering the stock, there is no better place for it
