Looking at the calendar, I see that it's only a few weeks from the convention in Las Vegas. I thought that I might get some of you loosened up for the trivia game that I have played at the convention for the last few years.
What I do is give a discount on your purchase based on your knowledge of Nevada casino history.
Each person is asked five questions ranging from easy to difficult. The easy questions will earn you a 5% discount and this increases till you have a shot at a 25% discount if you answer the most difficult question correctly.
Got it? Here's your five same questions to see how you would do.
For 5% Which direction does the Las Vegas strip run, north/south or
east/west?
For 10% Who was the first owner of the Aladdin?
For 15% "The Pit" casino that was only open from '66 to '68 in what small
mining town?
For 20% Cowboy Gene's was where from '79 to '80?
For 25% It's the year the Flamingo in Las Vegas built the "champagne tower"
Well, what do you think? Are you able to answer them all or just a couple. I'll have over 500 questins at the show, so stop by and see how you do when your in the hot seat and there's money on the line.
P.S. I sure wish people would stop whining for a while and pay a compliment to someone for doing a good job. Tim
