I have 2 or 3 of those chips.

It is my understanding, that casino's in Nevada can't sell live chips out of the gift shop.
Some casino's sell chips out of the cage as you know.

The casino probably hoped that this chip would be a souvenir, but it was actually a live chip at one time.

If my information is incorrect, someone will come long to correct me.
