The Taj made it public that these chips were being made through the mailing to card members. I surely don't rate as a high roller and sure enough I read about the chip in the mail. I personally do not want a chip like this. I don't think this has as much to do with being in the right place at the right time as to being the right person.
Is it possible to say whether the person that sold you the $100 Taj at the June meeting was one of the three picked from the hat at the March meeting or someone that got the chip because they said they collect them?
BTW I still have a lot of resentment for the Will Espin chip too. And I managed to get plenty of them. It's not so much the chip or being able to get them as it is the way they are distributed.
