I feel like sharing a little information on just a bit of what goes into my book.

I went to bat for all collectors in making this book. The publisher called and wanted a revision. The timeline to do this, a few weeks. I started to work on this knowing it was probably impossible but I was excited and it was time for a new price guide at least. Part way through I decided I am not completing just an update of prices, this must be a "4th edition". We renegotiated after explaining my dilema of the complexity of a book with this many prices. Each chips price has to be evaluated. This is not like one of their regular books. They agreed I would need a little more time. But I didn't get enough. I hate deadlines and this one was challenging. I was allowed to make a 4th book but could not change the images of casinos as it would change the way the text would flow. This made it an even bigger challenge. I had to stick with 400 pages as before too. Each page is 55 lines. I had to make sure each page stayed about the same. To add a chip I had to take out a line of text. I mostly would shorten a note that drug over to the next line. This was a puzzle and a hard one to complete. I changed hundreds of chip images. They wanted me to only change a few! I figure I am not doing this book for the publisher, I am doing this for collectors, and I know collectors want to see nice chip pictures!
I sent in the exact amount of pictures needed for the 6 chip images per page, yet somehow some images are missing in the back sections. I of course would of corrected this, given the chance.

Half way through this book due to the complexity of this issue and the limited page count I about gave up. Not being able to proof read how the text would flow first and then place the pictures of chips, made this almost impossible. It is very difficult to align the chip next to the casino and issue they go with. When I received my one final proof some of the casino's would start on the bottom of a page with just the casino name there. That bothered me so I made notes to somehow push the casino over to the next page. To me this makes a huge difference in how the book looks and flows. Instead of two proofs as normal I only saw one final. Did it all come out perfect? Nope. No books do. Will you find mistakes? I am sure you will.

Is this the only book of its kind? Yes!
