If you still want it, try this. Better to try on a cheaper chip 1st time, until you get the technique down.
Use a hairdryer to gradually heat (2 min vs. 15 seconds) the chip to nicely warm to the touch. Use 2 flat smooth surfaces and put some even weight on top (like a smooth(!) book and counter). Leave for 5 minutes -- should be straight or close to it. Better to underheat than to overheat.
Just an idea that has worked for me (under advice from a fellow chipper).
