Just got off the phone with Darrell. He's pulling a semi-truck load of last minute Christmas goods up from California. He just passed into the southern limits of Las Vegas (heading North on I-15 from Jean) and says it's alternating between snow and frozen rain - the roads are very slick!
Usually Darrell never gets unnerved driving (he's been doing it almost 35 years now), but NO ONE in LV knows how to drive in this weather and they are sliding into and wiping out everything. He just watch a guy slide on I-15 and wipe out a whole row of construction cones (thank goodness, no one's working today).... cars are into the median barriers, ditches, each other, etc.
BTW, Darrell is now closing in on 3 million miles of safe driving with no accidents (hopefully none today).
Soooooo stay home if you can - we all want ya both safe!
What am I doing? TRYING to shove a 6 lb Chihuahua out the doggie door (our Vegas adoptee and she is totally freaked out at the snow!
