I mean if someone spends $30,000 or $40,000 on a car I would surely expect that it last at least that long.
A much better indicator would be for those who have had cars that they keep 5-10 years and I can assure you that there are a LOT more 200,000k imports on the road than there are American Vehicles.
Yes, there are exceptions to the facts in every case. But remember CR is supposed to canvas many users and compiles these statistics on hundreds or thousands of experiences to week out the few exceptions.
