I use Adobe Photoshop Elements and find it does everything I need and more. My new scanner came with an extra copy. It's uninstalled, legal, with its own serial number. Comprehensive manual and help is on the CD. Version is 5.0 for Windows and 4.0 for Macintosh... both are on the disk
