back in the '70s and '80s, that area of Eureka was pretty depressed. They went through a revitaliztion effort since then, and now that area's called "OLD TOWN". Anyway, I think there was a rather .... well, let's just say "locals only" old bar called the 2 (Two) Street Bar and Grill in that location back then. Of course this is a front strike so it's more recent, but from what I've heard a lot of businesses changed hands every copuple of years throughout the last 20+ years. And remember, Eureka's a very active part of the "Emerald Triangle" so there's still a lot of marijuana money being invested in the "I've got a great idea for a business" kind of thing. A lot of them don't last very long.
