In the last several years, we have seen tokens all but disappear, fractionals are all but gone especially when it cost more to produce them than their face value. Silver strikes are pretty much a thing of the past also so what is left?
With the onset of all sorts of electronic games such as roulette, craps, and blackjack, who knows maybe in the next 10 years, chips will also be gone.
Yes, you can make the argument that people want live dealers etc but the same way as TITO was forced upon us in time so will this.
I'm sorry if I sound like the grim reaper but it sure looks like it is heading that way.
From the economic standpoint of casinos it would eliminate tremendous costs not only in chips but personnel, record keeping and more.
I suppose time will tell but we seem to be headed in that direction
Anyway.....I know you are a big boxing buff and of course what you do with your collection is certainly your business but you might want to continue collecting for a bit and give possible consideration to donating it to the MOGH
