The payoff for me regarding chip collecting and squashing a rumor.

The best things about collecting chips are the friends and acquaintances we have made. I have belonged to many groups over the years and there is none better then the members of the CCGTCC.

I haven’t bought myself any chips since the convention but I do buy chips for 5 kids. I seem to have lost interest in collecting for myself since ebay doesn’t show bidders anymore. I used to really like buying chips on ebay and have done so under a few names. I was not buying to invest in chips. I bid to win and it was a rush!

The rumor is that I am broke. My idea of broke is not being able to throw thousands away gambling every month. I took quite a hit when the stock market went to hell. That helped to halt my collecting as well.
I came close to selling a few of my favorite chips but then had a change of heart. I was going to use the money to buy more chips for my grandkids. I bought them anyway and used Ron’s money. Ron still has a great job and is doing well financially.
I hope this squashes the rumors.
