NCR I don't know skittles, but a duck pin ball
doesn't have ANY holes.
And there are two kinds of duck pins. Flying ducks and rubber band ducks.
My aunt and uncle (mom's sister and brother-in-law) owned Capital Lanes in Cumberland, MD for 30+ years. My dad's parents ran Lefty Grove's poolroom/bowling lanes in Lonaconing, MD for awhile.
Both of those operations primarily used rubber band ducks.
I've also heard of candlestick pins although I've never bowled with them.
It's interesting that duck pin bowling is a regional thing. My understanding is that it's only popular in the north east.
