I'm not sure here, being relatively new myself. I've heard many say the 1990 Harrahs Sailboat was the beginning of the "modern" commemorative, but the $1 68 Sahara Christmas chip gave birth to them. I saw a couple of these go on eBay recently for around $20-$30.
