Brenda and I have visted Janice in the hospital each day we've been out here and have witnessed a significant improvement in her condition over the previous visit ... which Jerry will update I'm sure. She is alert and is able to converse with us and she smiles a lot when memorable funny stories are recounted from our past experiences with her and Jerry. Jerry, the devoted husban, has spent virtually every waking moment with Janice over the past 75 days that Janice has been hospitalized. A couple of Jerry's silver-striker friends have been busy building a ramp at the O'Neal's home in anticipation of the day when Janice is released from the hospital and brought home for her future recovery... still a ways off.
