But is the 'regular' hat & cane really the same design as used on other current hotstamp chips, Robert. Hard to tell from the scan, but it looks like 'long canes' to me. Maybe it really is a new design? It would appear to me that new tooling would be required to hold the oversize inlays anyway. The old tooling would be for the 'standard size' inlays.

I've got to find a way to watch them make chips in Mexico one of these days!
