Hey Pete, As of this morning I haven't gotten any responses to my request, which I think goes to show you how far our hobby has "progressed". A few years back I sailed on a day cruise boat the week before it sunk trying to outrun a hurricane. Before I sailed I asked the folks on Prodigy if they wanted a set. A number of people responded & the chips were sent, even after I knew that the boat went down. We traded face for face, even though I had some idea what was taken off that boat. I have the figures which have been verified by a few other Florida collectors. I have gone to Curacao, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, & the Bahamas where I picked up chips and TRADED face for face. Sure these aren't as popular as Las Vegas or more specifically, the Hard Rock chips, but I think it points to where our hobby is headed. I may be behind the times but I still consider this a hobby & will not be gouged by dealers who try to sell "artificial rarities". I'm off on a day cruise as soon as I water my vandas & ascocendas.
