... Robert -- no matter how short the run, Ty did not change their price and therefore made no extra money. They also prohibited their authorized dealers from raising the prices on the rare items (which, of course, is not to say that every one of the dealers complied with that restriction). The increased prices on the rare beanie babies were, for the most part, enjoyed by the after-market sellers (just as is happening with the Hard Rock Cure chip). My sister is an authorized beanie baby retailer and this information is factual (albeit, of little direct use to chip collectors! <g>). ----- jim o\-S
