"1 - Obama clearly said if you have healthcare you may not or will not see any changes...But if you don't have it you should get the ability to join a different plan than us that do have it. This means there shouldn't be a scare to us that we will lose our prefered Dr. or our plan. Obviously neither of us can see the future for sure, but I am going on what his plan is thus far. McCain's was to remove employer-based healthcare which would be a nightmare for me. Obama also wants to reduce or eliminate the pre-existing condition nonsense. I have one and it is crazy to say that since healthcare is a business they shouldn't cover anyone who isn't perfectly healthy. Why have health insurance if it is only for the healthy?"

Gimmee, gimmee, gimmee. To hell with who is paying for it. Force businesses to pay insurance premiums and the cost of living goes up for everyone, except those on the public dole.

The paperwork from what the government already has in place regarding medicare and medicade just isn't worth the hassle. It ain't gonna get better and he sees the writing on the wall with the Obama election. You want to see a decline in available healthcare? It's already happening.

How did we ever get by before medicade and medicare? How can we exist without Obamacare? A clue or two. Families were families. They depended on each other to get through hard times, not the government. Family structure has become eroded due to generations of government support for irresponsible people. Why work when you can make babies and get checks in the mail?

I think both sides were to blame, rather than to thank, for the "bailout". I'm not sure why it was called bailout, since I haven't met anyone who has benefited from it. "Gays - I don't see your point. If you don't want to be gay, that is your CHOICE, and why should you do anything more about it than simply not be gay? Why take it a step further and vote for laws to define and govern marriage, and gay rights? That would mean controlling other people's private pursuit of happiness, correct? No law will stop people from being gay, so voting against them with laws isn't going to accomplish anything."

Marriage was defined long ago. Laws governing it have been in place. It wasn't straight people who originally took action to vote for laws to keep marriage between a man and a woman. Homosexuality is a behavior. It is a perverse behavior. Granting "rights" to perverse behavior isn't as simple as you make it to be. Homosexuals can achieve every right granted to heterosexuals through our current legal system regarding being a life partner except for one. What most people don't realize is, if homosexual marriage becomes the same as heterosexual marriage, social security benefits transfer to survivors of a gay marriage. More gimmee, gimmee, gimmee at the expense of others.

"Obama and sex ed - this was discussed in the media during the campaign and denounced as a desperate attack ad by the republicans to try and paint Obama as some kind of bad guy. This was not about teaching kids how to have sex. It was a responsible agenda behind it. Once again it showed how the McCain camp was running a platform of dogging Obama while Obama was busy talking straight about plans for unifying and rebuilding."

What responsible agenda is there for teaching 6-year-olds about sex? And why would any parent want the government responsible for doing it? You might have viewed it as desperation by the McCain camp. It was exposing the man and his beliefs. He also is a proponent of infanticide. He voted against and opposed the Born Alive Infant Protection Act three times as an Illinois State Senator, then lied about why he voted that way. Unifying what? The man has no conscience.
