What I mean stems from the original chip sponsered by the CO chapter! You remember, no one EXCEPT those from Colorado knew about them, bought them all up and THEN and ONY THEN offered them on then Prodigy Classic for the bargain of $15! I know, look at the Hard Rock today, the Will Espin of AC......same stuff there but Colorado began producing $25 & $100 chips for the sole purpose of after market sales! Why the heck do they need a $100 chip with a $5 max bet???
Also, does anyone know the policy of what happens to chips in Colorado when a casino closes?? When they change chips?? One of the reasons these things show up EIGHT years after the places close. I NEVER would tell anyone what to collect and where to collect from. I would, however, tell them WHERE the risk is when they do decide to collect and right now my feeling is that it's too risky to pay a premium for just about ANY obsolete Colorado chip. Again, my opinion, my collecting habit. In this country people are free to do as they please (as long as it's legal) and spend their money wherever they choose to.
Just don't cry after you spend when you were warned...............
