I've wondered the same thing. I can't believe anyone would actually click on the link and buy something. I think it's spammers making more money off selling the service than people buying. I had a friend who paid to have 2 million emails sent out to sell a product. He didn't make one sale off of the spam. The company he paid to do it, though, made money off him.
I personally have a policy that no matter how good something looks from Spam, I won't buy it from that link. I may Google the name and buy it from the website, but I don't want to support the Spam.
