Thanks Archie, that was the first time I'd ever seen that type of key. Another thing I liked about staying at the Rio was having to show a guard a room key before getting access to the hotel elevators, like at AZ Charlie's. The additional security makes me feel more comfortable during a hotel stay. It might not mean that my room is dramatically more secure, but it does free me from a level of worry, and when I'm there, I'm there to have fun!

I have a couple of blank plastic room keys that I believe were what I used during a stay at the Sahara last year, don't know if other Nevada casinos are using blank plastic room keys.
