Not me Tim. Also, I'm not real sure either candidate would be an improvement. Our President isn't a dictator. His power is limited. Our three branches of government have frequently tied the hands of the Commander in Chief. What is different about this election, and the results is, the President Elect will have the backing of both houses of Congress to push legislation onto his desk to sign. Our Supreme Court, the third branch of our government, will most likely see 2 or 3 seats become available due to retirement during the next 4 years. With a Democrat in the Whitehouse, and Democrats controlling Congress, Democrats will soon have a hat trick. They will affectively control all 3 branches of our government. That is not good. ....and I'm not only talking about America. That is not good for the planet.
"Now if only someone in power would amend your constitution to get rid of the insane line about a "right to bear arms"......You don't see Australians roaming the streets killing each other in their thousands.....but that's another topic entirely!"
I didn't own a hand gun until someone started to come through my upstairs bedroom window while I was sleeping. I'll repeat the important parts....my upstairs bedroom window while I was sleeping! That single violation of my safety (and perhaps my life) in my own bedroom while doing nothing to anyone other than trying to sleep was reason enough for me to put a loaded pistol under my pillow. Taking the ability for me to own and use that gun away wouldn't make me safer. It would give criminals a decided advantage over their potential victims. BTW, our newly elected President would agree with you. As a state Senator in Illinois, he voted to uphold Chicago's strict gun control regulations after a man shot an intruder in his own home while his family was sleeping. The homeowner was in violation of the law for protecting his family.
