...a hard-core matchbook collector, but I have a couple hundred of them. For me, I never consider buying a matchbook unless it has the matches in it. Seems odd to me when folks do otherwise, although I understand the safety issue. Still, to me it's like collecting empty beer bottles or bikinis. Why would you buy the wrappers when someone has already removed all the goodies.

OK, NOT the same thing...but similar enough to me that I don't collect matchless matchbooks. I think I am in the minority though.
