After the heart breaking loos to USC at ND a couple of years ago, (the Reggie push in the last few sec.) Charlie W. asked Pete Carroll if he could address the USC team in there locker room a few minutes after the game finished. He told USC players what a great game they played, and wished them luck the rest of the year. When asked why he did that after one of ND wrost looses ever, he wanted to show Charlie Jr. it is important to display class and good sportsmanship even in defeat. Also, at every pep rally Charlie advises students, and fans to welcome the visiting team fans to ND and show respect. And they do, before games I see students giving directions and being friendly to visitors all the time. The same isn't true at the USC home games, where anyone with a ND hat on is cussed and verbally abused. Seen this 100's of times. In fact 2 yrs ago 30 mins. before the game 10,000 student section, was chanting Fuc* ND over and over for 5 mins. before a administrator had them stop. You talk about no class USC is the top of the list for sure, I personally, wittness these accounts.
