U.S Gold coins pre 1933 are usually a good investment and are more historic then bullion. They do not have 1 oz of gold but, the highly prized St. Gaudens is 0.9677 oz of gold and its price rises and falls with the market. The exception is if you get a certified coin of an MS 60 to 65 usualy is higher. Shop around and compare, keeping in mind that gold rises and falls daily.
