... and not a one of them is asking what has Obama done, but rather taking action to do what they can do for him in order to help Obama bring us back, once again, to be where we should be.
I've voted Republican all of my life... and I've defended Bush on the war (just check out my Bush posts over the years) constantly... but after seeing how McCain has reacted to some of the situations that face us now and with his choice of Palin, is just a bit too much for me... She has one thing in mind and one thing, only; AK, not the USA. She has no interest, whatsoever, in the USA. She's still in shock that he approached her... which, by the way, wasn't all that recent.
McCain's plan bounced and all I think that's got to be done at this time is for Republicans and Democrats to join in with the fight to move onward and not fight each other to see who can sling the most mud at whom... that's not how we were formed and that's not how we need to correct what's at hand... and for those with the race problem, give it up... it's out of style.
I cannot stress how well Powell said what he did, and I do hope he was well understood... which I truly feel he was. The hard part is accepting what he said.
