Greg's wife Carol just called to give us an update on how he is doing. He reported to the hospital today for surgery at 8am this morning. Due to some scheduling things with the doctor, Greg's surgery didn't actually start until about 2pm. It is 8:30pm right now and he's still in surgery. It is taking a bit longer than they expected. As a result, they've had to give him some blood during surgery which she said was expected since it has gone on for so long. The good news is that they didn't stop the surgery right away. Once they got in there and evaluated the situation, they felt they could continue on with doing what they needed to do. She thought he might be done around 10pm this evening. Carol may give me a call yet tonight or in the morning. As soon as I hear more details, I will pass it on to everyone here. Please continue to think of Greg and pray that he will get better soon.
