I would also suggest that member acquisitions of manufacture records that are made available to the Club with some degree of exclusivity should also be considered for such an area. WHILE I APPLAUD those who have previously made such records available to the public at-large, if the records had been loaned to the Club for cataloging, database development and other similar activities, the results of those efforts (being a Club supported effort with Club volunteers) rightly belongs in the exclusive domain of the Club.
This location would also be a good place to put the Club's Directory of members, i.e., those that are currently listed in a hardcopy version available from the Membership Officer for $10. (While I don't know what the current revenue source to the Club is on sales of the Directory, perhaps the income alone may suggest that this is not a good idea. However, if the revune stream is not that great, I'd bet that having access to the Directory by being a member will be seen as a valued added benefit of membership.
