While Club members do post on the Chipboard, it is by no means an official forum for Club related complaints, etc. There may be discussions/strings about various Club activites, etc. and that's fine - but anything official belongs on the Club board.

To suggest that people pledge not to post about a particular subject could come across as censorship, even if you didn't intend that interpretation. It kind of sends a message that we don't have enough sense to avoid reading a post that we might find upsetting, so we have to take a pledge.

NCR does stand for Not Chip Related and most of us learn very quickly not to open/read posts from certain people.

Most importantly: The Chipboard is run and maintained by Greg, not the Club.
