To copy and transfer text (like the body of an email), left mouse click where you want to start and hold down the left click mouse button and move the curser through the text to highlight it until you have everything highlighted that you want to save or use later. Then, hold down the Control (CTRL) key and press "c". That copies the highlighted text. When you want to add what you copied into a BB post, document or email, or what ever, hold down the Control key again, and press "v". Doing that pastes the text into the item you want in most cases. (soft software doesn't support copy and paste using these keystrokes)

Example, I copied and pasted your entire note below without typing a word. I add ">>" & "<<" to show that the text between the marks is quoted.

Not too hard to do, but given that this is based in older DOS keystrokes, you usually gotta ask how to do it, or spend WAY too much time figuring it out on your own.
