OK! Here’s the story:

I am sure many of you watched the auction for the Las Vegas Club 10 cent chips! So did I! I however am the one that bought them! I have now received them all 67 (!) of them. Their condition is not great! But I knew that going in and for those of you that looked, you could tell their condition was not great too!

On the other hand how many opportunities do you get to own a LAS VEGAS CLUB 10 CENT CHIP N1849 from the 1950’s in ANY condition. TCR #10 rates these chips as an N+: $125.00 to $149.00! Campiglia and Wells (CW3) rates them as an R5: $75.00 to $150.00! You know and I know that in this condition they are anything but!

I would place all in the USED/WELL USED category and towards the lowest two categories POOR!

I have broken the chips down into 6 categories of condition and I am displaying one chip in each category with its price. Each category is distinct from the other!

Category ONE (4 chips): Some hot stamp remains on both sides and there are no significant rims nicks! PRICE: $29.95 plus $1.50 shipping, TOTAL: $31.45! Remember I only have FOUR!

Category TWO (10 chips): Very easy to read on at least one if not both sides, NO hot stamp! PRICE: $19.95 plus $1.50 shipping, TOTAL: $21.45! Remember I only have TEN!

Category THREE (20 chips): Not real easy to read although you certainly can on at least one side if not both! PRICE: $9.95 plus $1.50 shipping, TOTAL: $11.45! Remember I only have TWENTY!

Category FOUR (16 chips): Not easy to read in many cases and a rim nick that is noticeable! PRICE: $8.95 plus $1.50 shipping, TOTAL: $10.45!! Remember I only have SIXTEEN!

Category FIVE (14 chips): Not easy to read in many cases and more than one noticeable rim nick on one or both sides! PRICE: $7.95 plus $1.50 shipping, TOTAL: $9.45!! Remember I only have FOURTEEN!

Category SIX (3 chips): Not easy to read in many cases and multiple noticeable rim nicks! PRICE: $6.95 plus $1.50 shipping, TOTAL: $8.45! Remember I only have THREE!

So why am I doing it this way: I figure many, many people will want one and they are certainly not worth $75.00 to $149.00! This way depending on your pocket book you can get one of these, they are, despite their condition pretty cool and so is/was the Las Vegas Club!
