the center used to be the old Pair-O-Dice Club, on highway 91. Building materials were scarce during the war, so they included that existing building in the design of the new building. They also got the old mahogany bar and the beveled glass doors from the Arizona Club, which they used in the building. The government confiscated most of their electrical supplies, during the construction, so they bought an old mine and stripped the conduit and wiring from it, to use in their building.
